Armed Kidnapping on Nichols Rd, Unincorporated Arlington Heights Northwest of Nickol Knoll Park

UPDATE: Victim was found apparently safe by 6:55 p.m. No word on any arrests.

Cook County Sheriff’s police responded about 5:46 PM Friday to a report of a kidnapping of an adult female in the area of 2306 West Nichols Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report of a kidnapping of a female by a male/Hispanic, who has been identified to police.

A female/Hispanic, age 35, was kidnapped by force with a black pistol by the offender — possibly accompanied by four other occupants in the vehicle.

The offender’s vehicle was described as an older model gray minivan — possibly a 2001 model year. The offender fled with the victim and four other occupants.

The crime is reported to have occurred at 5:46 p.m.

The crime scene is about 2,000 feet northwest of Nickol Knoll Park.
