Small Fire in a Trash Can Reported at 1 Renaissance Place, Palatine

Palatine police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 8:09 PM Monday to a report of smoke on the second floor at Renaissance Tower, 1 Renaissance Place Palatine, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that residents report smoke on the second floor.

Palatine’s fire battalion chief on scene reported nothing showing from the front of the building.

Firefighters were updated about 8:13 pm that the fire was possibly involved in a trash can in a room on the second floor.

The fire was reported “out” by Engine 82’s crew at about 8:16 p.m. Extra firefighters were immediately returned.
