Actor Jamie Foxx Rescues Driver from Burning Car in Rollover Crash Near His Home in Westlake Village, California

CHP officers and Ventura County firefighters responded about 8:39 p.m. Monday January 18, 2015 to a report of a rollover crash with a car fire Potrero and Hidden Valley in Westlake Village, California.

The crash site was near the residence gate of Jamie Foxx, who told CHP officers that he heard the accident and a person screaming from the overturned vehicle. Jamie Foxx made a 911 call, and proceeded to reach into the vehicle, grab the person, and drag them away to safety.

Ventura County firefighters arrived and extinguished the fire. Paramedics transported the driver to a local hospital with serious injuries including severe facial burns.
