Small Fire in House on North Kennicott Ave Near Lynwood Ave, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 5:29 AM Thursday to a report of a house fire at 1510 North Kennicott Avenue Arlington Heights, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that a stereo was on fire in the basement.

The first fire crew on arrival reported that residents were evacuated from the house and smoke was showing outside the house.

The fire was extinguished by 5:34 a.m. and prior to arrival of firefighters. Crews immediately went to work ventilating the home.

One person was evaluated by paramedics, but was not transported to the hospital.
