The Board of Education of Prospect Heights District 23 and the Prospect Heights Education Association (PHEA) tentatively reached a new four year collective bargaining agreement.

The PHEA will meet on Sunday, September 27, to vote on the new contract. The District 23 School Board plans to meet on Tuesday evening, September 29, to vote.

If PHEA ratifies the contract on Sunday, employees and students will return to school on Monday, September 28, 2015.

So far students at Dwight D. Eisenhower, Betsy Ross and Anne Sullivan elementary schools and Douglas MacArthur Middle School missed eight days of school since the strike started Wednesday September 16, 2015.
