Arlington Heights Police Host Free Car Seat Check September 19, 2015

Visit the Arlington Heights Police Department on Saturday, September 19 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. for a free car seat check. Police will ensure you have chosen the right car seat and that it is used properly.

The Police Department is located at 33 S. Arlington Heights Road, adjacent to Village Hall.

Here are several important reminders about using car seats:

• Car seat must be rear-facing until age 2.
• Forward-facing seat used until the maximum height and weight limits.
• Use Booster seat until the seat belt fits across the shoulder and hips.
• Use seat belt forever after.
• Kids must sit in the back seat until age 13.
