Bartlett police received a report about 11:01 AM Tuesday of a stolen auto in the block of 2252 Southwind Blvd Bartlett, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders took two Mack tractor trucks and trailers from a truck lot at Bluff City Materials.
One of the tractor trucks was found about one mile north at Vulcan Boulevard and Miles Parkway with windows and mirrors smashed, and with the radio and CDs missing. The truck’s fire extinguisher was also discharged inside the truck.
Also reported missing from a field nearby were an auger, disc axle and six tiller tines. The items were taken from the field near Miles Parkway and Bartlett Road.
The loss was estimated at $128,150.
The crime is reported to have occurred between Monday, August 24, 2015 at 9:30 PM and Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at 11:00 AM. The elapsed time range including the time the crime could have occurred is 13:30 (hours: minutes).
