Smashed Passenger Window, Vehicle Burglary at Arlington Park Metra Train Lot, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 10:01 PM Friday of a vehicle burglary at the Metra commuter lot, 2121 West Northwest Highway Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders entered the victim’s tan 1998 Oldsmobile, by throwing a rock and smashing the front passenger window, while it was parked in the commuter lot. $40 US Currency was removed from the center counsel.

The vehicle was locked, according to the police report. Arlington Heights police did not report whether the currency was in plain view.

The crime is reported to have occurred on Friday, August 28, 2015 between 08:00 PM and 10:00 PM. The elapsed time range including the time the crime could have occurred is 2:0 (hours: minutes).
