Norton Documentary: The Most Dangerous Town on the Internet — a Look at Hacking Community in Romania

#ad▼

Watch the cybercrime documentary profiling the Romanian town nicknamed “Hackerville” or “Most Dangerous Town on the Internet.” Convicted blackhat hackers, like Guccifer (real name), talk worms, viruses, social engineering, identity theft, and even hacking Hillary Clinton’s email (20 minutes).

The Iceman hacked into some of the more sensitive computers in the domain of U.S. space and defense systems — those at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena.

Because of Iceman’s actions, NASA sustained more than $500,000 in damages. Researchers were unable to use the computers for more than two months while NASA removed the malicious code in the computer, restored data and took steps to prevent further access by hackers.

The video features information on Iceman and several other hackers, including Pele Narcis, “tinkode” Razvan Cernaianu, “Guccifer” marcel Lazar and more.

Looks like former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton would have already known she was a high-level target because she was already being attacked by hackers when she set up an email server in her own household.
