Natural Gas Leak at Perry Dr Northeast of Quentin Rd and Bayer Dr, Palatine

Palatine police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 9:27 AM Thursday to a natural gas leak at 1127 Perry Drive Palatine, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that a contractor hit a gas line and gas was “bubbling up” at the site.

First firefighters on the scene reported a smell of natural gas in the area.

Firefighters set up a standby water line in case of explosion and fire and were working with Nicor to stop the gas leak.
