Boy Bitten by Pit Bull at Dryden Place Marketview Apartments on Dryden Pl North of Kensington Rd, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 4:43 PM Tuesday to a report of a dog bite at 3 North Dryden Place Arlington Heights, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that an 11-year-old boy was bitten by a pit bull.

The boy was reported to have been attacked in the abdomen and arm.

The boy was transported to Northwest Community Hospital with paramedics leaving the scene en route to the hospital by 4:51 p.m.

There was no alert to paramedics whether the dog was unrestrained. However, no information about the location of the dog was available at the time of this report.

In about one week’s period the police and/or firefighter/paramedics have responded to the apartments for two drug overdose calls and a report of shots fired.
