Authorities say that they have widened the search area in order to find two inmates who escaped from Clinton Correctional Facility in Dannemora, New York.
Inmates Richard Matt and David Sweat, both serving sentences for murder, escaped from the facility on June 6, 2015. A prison employee, Joyce Mitchell, was charged with aiding their escape.
Richard Matt has a history of several escapes and attempted escapes in his criminal history.
