Man Charged with Murder After Fight Over Socks Outside Uptown Target, Chicago Ended with a Stabbing

Chicago police and fire department paramedics responded about 9:45 p.m. Sunday outside the Target Store at North Broadway and West Montrose Avenue after a man stabbed another man in the neck.

The stabbing victim was transported to Level I Trauma Center Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. His identity has not been released.

Ross Feiwell, age 58, is charged with murder after the deadly stabbing.

The murder is the seventh homicide in Uptown this year. In 2014 there were five murders in Uptown. In 2013, there was one murder in Uptown.
