Crash with Injuries on Southbound Route 53 near Dundee Road, Palatine

Illinois State police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 5:36 PM Friday to a report of a crash with injuries on Southbound Route 53 at Dundee Road Palatine, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics upon arrival reported the crash appeared to be under the Dundee Road bridge.

Crews on arrival reported no extrication was needed, but a light pole was down across the two outside lanes.

A second crash occurred near Lake Cook Road about 30 minutes after the first crash.
