Apple iCloud and email servers are down Tuesday, June 2, 2015.

If you send emails from a computer, you will likely see this message …

The server returned the error: Service temporarily unavailable

Users in the United States, United Kingdom, Singapore, Brussels

Using Siri for directions intermittently failed because Siri replied the user’s current location couldn’t be found.

With over 30 minutes of service disruption, Apple Services status page indicated no problems with any of their services at 10:52 a.m.

Mail Connection Doctor produced the following results …

iCloud IMAP

Could not connect to this iCloud IMAP server. Check your network connection and that you entered the correct information in the Account preferences. Also verify that the server supports SSL. If it does not, deselect the “Use SSL” checkbox in the Advanced tab of Account preferences.

Of course it would be a waste of time to make the recommended changes from the Apple message because their servers are down.

The website isitdownrightnow.com registered 50 comments reporting iCloud and/or Apple mail unavailable.
