Des Plaines police responded about 11:45 AM Friday to a report of weapon “shots fired” at 42.039011, -87.871030 (Dempster St and I-294 Des Plaines , IL). Police received a report that a weapon was displayed and fired near Dempster Street and I-294 in Des Plaines.
The offender was described as a male/white with brown salt-and-pepper hair.
The offender was reported to be driving a black Nissan Titan with two window decals on the back window.
The vehicle left southbound on I-294 from Dempster Street.
The crime is reported to have occurred at 11:45 a.m.
