TRAFFIC ALERT: Arlington Heights Rd Down to 2 Lanes Near St James Church and School, Just North of Hawthorne St

After several reports of the smell of natural gas in the past few days, Nicor crews are working on repairing a leaking gas line near St. James Church and St James School in the 800 block of North Arlington Heights Road.

Arlington Heights Road is reported to have lane blockage down to two lanes — one lane in each direction.

Northbound traffic seems to be most affected with northbound Arlington Heights Road backed up to the block between Miner Street and Wings Street just north of Northwest Highway at 4:50 p.m.
