Hoffman Estates police responded about 8:45 AM Tuesday to a bank robbery at the Hoffman Estates Community Bank, 2200 West Higgins Road Hoffman Estates, IL. Police received a report that a man entered the Hoffman Estates Community Bank at at 8:45 a.m. and passed a note to a teller.
The teller complied with the note by giving the man an undisclosed amount of cash. The bank robber then ran north from the bank.
No weapon was displayed, and no injuries were reported.

The offender was described as a male/black subject, about 6′ 4″ tall with a thin build. The offender was last seen wearing orange clothing with a hood, dark gloves and dark pants.
