Power Outage Streamwood: Crash with One Injured Brings Down Light Pole, Power Pole on S Oltendorf Rd, Streamwood

Streamwood police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 3:49 AM Saturday to a crash with a downed utility pole at 417 South Oltendorf Road. Police and firefighter/paramedics were on the scene with the driver of a car that rolled on its side and hit a light pole and/or utility pole.

No word on the extent of injuries of the driver.

Streamwood Battalion Fire Chief on the scene reported a vehicle on its side with a light pole and an electric utility pole down with a primary line down across the road.

ComEd was requested to the scene. ComEd was on the scene and reported their estimated power restoration time was 10:45 a.m. ComEd reported 36 customers without power in the area.
