Vehicle Burglary an Attempted Vehicle Burglary at Hotel on West Algonquin Rd, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 6:31 PM Sunday of a vehicle burglary at a parking lot at Courtyard of Marriott, 100 West Algonquin Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders entered the victim’s 2010 black Mercedes GL450 and removed the factory installed navigation system. The value of the navigation system was unknown at the time of the police report.

The vehicle burglary is reported to have occurred between Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 11:00 p.m. and Sunday, October 19, 2014 at 6:30 a.m.

Unknown offender(s) also attempted to enter a victim’s 2010 gray Ford Mustang by cutting the convertible top. No entry gained.

The cost to repair the damage was unknown.

The attempted vehicle burglary is reported to have occurred between Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 11:00 p.m. and Sunday, October 19, 2014 at 9:00 a.m.
