Report of a Battery Victim Knocked Unconscious Near Bothwell St and Station St, Palatine

Palatine police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 3:07 AM Saturday to a battery victim knocked unconscious near Bothwell Street and Station Street Palatine, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that one of the offenders might have had a gun.

Firefighter/paramedics staged until police secured the area.

Police and firefighter/paramedics received mixed reports whether the offender had a weapon. The offender was described as a male/white subject wearing a purple V-neck T-shirt.

Police were out with the subject and or the victim at the Metra train station by about 3:10 am.

No word on any arrests or transports to a local hospital.
