Postal Service Employee Robbed at Knifepoint Near Mooseheart School on James J. Davis Dr, Mooseheart

Kane County Sheriff’s deputies responded about 10:30 am Thursday to a report of an armed robbery of a U.S. Postal Service employee near James J Davis Drive and Pilgrim Street, Mooseheart, IL. Police received a report that a postal employee was robbed near Mooseheart School in Mooseheart, Illinois in Kane County. The offender was armed with a knife.

The offender was described as a male/black subject approximately 6’3″ to 6’4″ 220 LBS, wearing a grayish-black hoodie with the hood up, black pants. The offender was also described as having a deep-sounding voice.

Taken were cluster keys, a US postal box scanning device, and a Galaxy S5 cell phone.

The crime is reported to have occurred about 10:30 a.m. — not confirmed.
