Female Jockey Punches Another Female Jockey at Arlington International, Arlington Heights; No Arrests

Arlington Heights police responded about 4:00 PM Friday to a report of a battery at Arlington International, 2200 West Euclid Avenue Arlington Heights, IL.

Possibly related to some competition at the practice track, a dispute occurred just before 4 p.m. and a female jockey was punched in the face by another female jockey.

The victim of the punch was hit just below her eye. The husband of the jockey hit was considering pressing charges when marks became visible on his wife’s face, according to a source close to the situation. However, the victim, believed to be in her late 20s, decided not to sign a complaint. No charges were filed against either woman.

The horse racing season at Arlington ended this weekend.
