The Culpeper County Sheriff’s Office and Virginia State Police responded about 10:00 p.m. Sunday after relatives called 9-1-1 to report they found a family of five shot to death in their home at 14458 Rixeyville Road in Culpeper, Virginia.
A man and woman, both 35 years old, and three children were found dead inside the home.
Police have not officially released information about the victims, but did report that one of the children appeared to be middle school age, and two appeared to be elementary school age.
The Culpeper County Sheriff’s Office and Virginia State Police are investigating the incident and the scene.
