Missing Arlington Heights Man, Joseph McMahon, Found Safe in Lockport, Illinois

Joseph McMahon, age 89, reported missing from Arlington Heights since Friday was located safe in southwest suburban Lockport in Will County within hours after Arlington Heights police broadcast a bulletin about the missing man late Saturday.

Lockport police found Joseph McMahon at about 3:30 a.m. Sunday in what police described as “a state of mental confusion.” McMahon was transported to Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox for evaluation, police said.

McMahon had been last seen Friday driving a 1998 red, four-door Oldsmobile. A police license plate check was run coincidentally on Saturday morning, July 12, 2014, in Kendall County.
