Illinois State police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 8:00 AM Tuesday to EB I-290 at Thorndale Ave near Itasca. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report of a rollover crash at Eastbound I-290 near the Thorndale Avenue overpass.
Firefighters on scene reported a rollover Jeep with possibly three injured. The crash is just north of the southbound/eastbound merge ramp from eastbound Thorndale Avenue.
Traffic was at a standstill on eastbound I-290 from Thorndale Avenue to Interstate 90.
Damaged vehicles in the crash scene were being cleared from the raodway about 8:20 a.m.
