Lord & Taylor Burglary at Oak Brook Center Less Than Two Months After Lord & Taylor Burglary At Woodfield Mall

Oak Brook police responded to an activated burglar alarm 4:30 AM Tuesday at Lord & Taylor, 180 Oakbrook Center Mall, Oak Brook, IL. Police discovered a smashed window and investigation revealed that jewelry and watches were stolen.

A similar smash-and-grab crime occurred about 3:30 a.m. March 25, 2014 at the Oak Brook Center Mall at the Louis Vuitton store. An unknown offender or offenders took bags worth more than $70,000.

On Thursday, March 20, 2014 at about 5:00 a.m. a burglary occurred at the Woodfield Mall Lord & Taylor after an offender activated the burglar alarm. Schaumburg police did not release details on this burglary — saying it was still under investigation.

On September 24, 2013 offender(s) took purses valued at $15-$20,000 from Louis Vuitton.

On September 28, 2013, fifteen coats valued at $15,000 were taken illegally, then more clothes were stolen, valued at $13,000.

On Sunday June 23, 2014 at Oakbrook Center, three male offenders smashed a jewelry case at C.D. Peacock. A security guard shot and injured one offender, but two others fled.
