A new 11-foot by 21-foot space will soon be available for outdoor dining for Carlos and Carlos after the request by the restaurant was approved Monday night at the village board meeting.
The space should be available by the end of the month — Memorial Day weekend. Outdoor heaters will be available on cooler days, and the outdoor dining season is expected to be late April through early October.
The outdoor dining area will not be available for Carlos and Carlos diners during Taste of Arlington and the Mane Event.
The public will be able to use the tables and chairs outside of the restaurants business operating hours. The downtown restaurants and yogurt shops are a highlight attraction of Arlington Heights, especially during the warmer months.
