Car Hits Lamp Post, No Injuries, at Evergreen Ave and Miner St, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 4:39 PM Friday to a report of a car vs lamp post crash at Evergreen Avenue and Miner Street Arlington Heights, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics discovered a car crashed into a lamp post on the northwest corner of Evergreen Avenue and Miner Street in front of Uptown Cafe. The crash did not damage the restaurant.

A witness at the scene reported that the driver’s vehicle was traveling erratically near Belmont Avenue and Miner Street and was up on a lawn at one point.

The driver was evaluated by paramedics, but was not transported to the hospital. There did not appear to be an arrest for DUI, but there may have been a medical issue that was related to the crash.
