Residential Burglary at Home on Fernandez Ave, North of Palatine Rd, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 8:01 AM Sunday of a residential burglary in the block of 1900 North Fernandez Avenue Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders burglarized a home on Fernandez Avenue north of Palatine Road.

The offender(s) removed one flat screen television value $285.

The homeowner was contacted by a neighbor, who noticed that a garage door was left open. The inner door of the attached garage door was locked and secured. Another door was discovered open on the southeast side of the house.

A basement window was damaged but was too small for entry. Also a window on a detached garage on the property was shattered.

Window repair is valued of $75 each.

The crime is reported to have occurred between Saturday April 5, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. and Sunday, April 6, 2014 at 8:00 a.m.
