Work Van Burglary on South Salem Avenue, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 7:21 AM Monday of a vehicle burglary in the block of 1200 South Salem Avenue Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders burglarized a 2007 gold Chevy Express van. The offender(s) gained entry by punching out

Offender(s) took five nail guns valued $800, a DeWalt cordless drill, valued at $200, and a Mikita miter saw valued at $300. No damage value estimate was available on the door lock.

The crime is reported to have occurred between Sunday, March 16, 2014 at 10:30 p.m. and Monday, March 17, 2014 at 7:20 a.m.

Nearby, another work van burglary was reported over the weekend on South Princeton Avenue, just north of Algonquin Road.
