Snowfall is forecast to last until about 6:00 a.m. Saturday with some flurries following until about 11:00 a.m. About 0.7 inch accumulation is forecast.
Satellite images show clouds just to the north and west of Illinois in Iowa and Wisconsin. Clouds are expected increase gradually today.
Some gusty southwest winds are forecast periodically during the day today at 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. Then gusty north northeast winds about 20 mph are expected Saturday morning about 7:00 a.m. to noon.
