Theft of Wallet From Purse at Old Country Buffet on Palatine Road, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report on Tuesday of a theft at Old Country Buffet, 445 East Palatine Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders took a victim’s wallet while they were up getting food at the buffet.

The victim got up to get some food and left a purse containing a brown leather folding wallet with $50, a driver’s license, and credit cards. When the victim returned, the purse was there, but the wallet was gone.

An unauthorized charge on one of the victims credit cards occurred on November 23, 2013 at 5:30 pm at the Target store at Rand Road and Thomas Street for over $1300.

The crime is reported to have occurred on Saturday, November 23, 2013 between 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
