Criminal Trespass/Attempted Residential Burglary on North Highland Ave, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police responded about 2:46 PM Sunday to Hey report of criminal trespass or attempted residential burglary at 4100 North Highland Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that a resident accidentally left his garage door and returned to his home in a 15-minute time period.

As the resident returned to his home, he saw a male/Hispanic subject walk out of his garage and run — fleeing to a waiting pickup truck.

The suspect was described as a male in his late 20s and early 30s, 6’0″ 180 LBS wit hbrown hair, and wearing a gray hoodie and blue jeans.

The truck that he fled to was described as an older model Ford scrap truck with a red front and a gray body.

The crime is reported to have occurred Sunday, December 1, 2013 between 2:30 p.m and 2:45 p.m.
