Oak Brook police responded about 6:45 PM Saturday to an armed robbery at Helzberg Diamonds, 3031 Butterfield Road Oak Brook, IL. Police received a report of an armed robbery by two male/black offenders.
The first suspect was described as a male/black subject 6’0″ wearing all black clothing and a black ski mask. He displayed an unknown handgun, and pointed the gun at employees of Helzberg Diamonds.
The second suspect was described as a male/black 6’0″ unknown clothing wearing a yellow ski mask.
Both subjects were last seen fleeing eastbound on foot along the side of the building.
Helzberg Diamonds is about 3/4 mile east of Yorktown Shopping Center. There is also a Helzberg Diamonds located at 1410 East Golf Road in Schaumburg.
The crime is reported to have occurred at 6:45 p.m.
