Another Tree Chopped Down — This Time a 40-Ft Red Cedar At Heritage Park, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 12:01 PM Wednesday of criminal damage to property at 506 West Victoria Lane Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders criminally damaged and destroyed a park district tree.

Unknown offenders used an ax to cut down a 40-foot tall red cedar tree.

The tree was at the end of the row at the top of the hill. The stump was about 16 inches in diameter.

Replacement value is estimated at $3500.

The crime is reported to have occurred between November 26, 2013 at 5:00 p.m and November 27, 2013 at noon.
