Work Van Burglary with a Little Work Involved in Less than 30 Minutes on East Fremont St, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 12:31 AM Tuesday of a vehicle burglary in the block of 2000 East Fremont Street Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders burglarized a work van within a 30-minute time period.

Unknown offender(s) shattered the passenger side rear door window, cut through the metal cage and entered the 2000 GMC Savana van. An unknown number of construction tools were removed. A subject was seen near the vehicle on two occasions.

The subject/suspect is described as a male/white in his mid-40s, 5’06” to 5’08” with a stocky build, dark hair, wearing a jacket, and last seen driving a white Nissan Maxima.

The crime is reported to have occurred on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 between midnight and 12:30 a.m.
