Antioch police responded to a crime scene involving two suspicious deaths on Monday in the 1200 block of Main Street. Two bodies were removed from a home. Police say they are searching for a relative, Billy E. Varner, age 54, as part of an investigation of the deaths of two people in an Antioch apartment.

The identities of the victims have not been released.

Officials, on Monday, did not call Varner a suspect in the deaths, but a warrant has been issued for his arrest in connection with the possible theft of a van. Antioch police believe Varner may be driving a 2002 tan Chevy Extended Conversion van with Illinois plates N943872.

The van is also described by police as having damage to the rear passenger side tail light.

Police say Varner is considered dangerous, and therefore should not be approached, if seen. Police urge any citizens with information or with reports of a sighting of Varney or the van to call 911 or the Antioch police at 847-395-8585.
