Two Vehicle Burglaries on South Rohlwing Rd Near Northwest Highway, Palatine

Palatine police received a report about 7:01 AM Saturday of two vehicle burglaries with criminal damage in the block of 200 South Rohlwing Road Palatine, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders shattered the driver’s side window of a 1997 Honda and removed a Pioneer car stereo. The value of the theft and criminal damage is uknown.

Unknown offender(s) also burglarized a 1998 Volkswagen by shattering the driver’s door window and removing a car stereo, a MAG flashlight, a Leatherman tool, and Apple iPhone charger kit, a black windbreaker jacket (value $60). Except for the jacket, the value of the items was not available. The brand name of the car stereo was also not available.

The burglaries, just north of Northwest Highway, are believed to have occurred between Friday September 6, 2013 at 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 7:00 a.m.
