DUI Arrest on Algonquin Rd at Reserve Dr, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police arrested a DUI driver 2:00 PM Saturday near Algonquin Road and Reserve Drive Arlington Heights, IL. Police observed the a white Subaru Impreza speeding eastbound on Algonquin Road. The vehicle was drifting across lane lines. A traffic stop was made, and the police officer noticed a strong odor of alcoholic beverage on the driver’s breath. A pill (suspected to be Ecstasy) was in the driver’s pocket, and a metal cannabis grinder was in the center console.

The driver was identified as Dexter R. Roknich age 26-years-old, of the 1400 block of Webster Lane Des Plaines.

Police transported Dexter R Roknich in custody to Arlington Heights Police Department Headquarters. The driver’s white 2013 Subaru Impreza was towed to a police holding area.

Roknich was charged with DUI, speeding, improper lane usage, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

His court date is October 24, 2013.
