Palatine police received a report about 5:01 PM Saturday of a bike theft at parking lot of TJMaxx, 679 E. Dundee Rd., Palatine, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders took a black Diamondback BMX bicycles (value estimate $250) was taken by unknown offender(s). The owner reported that the bike was secured to a traffic sign with a cable lock in front of the store, and when they returned the bike and cable were missing.
The crime is reported to have occurred on Saturday, September 21, 2013 between 2:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
