Brooke talks with Marc Klaas of KlaasKids Foundation about the investigation surrounding the kidnapping of a 14-year-old.

Clayton County police reported yesterday that Ayvani Hope Perez was abducted from a home in the Ellenwood neighborhood on Brookgate Drive after two armed men broke in and shot the family dog. The dog was not killed.

The men demanded money and demanded jewelry at the home invasion. Police are denying reports of a ransom demand.

Ayvani Hope Perez was last seen wearing Star Wars pajama pants. Police believe two male/black suspects fled with the victim in a gray Dodge.

A nationwide Amber Alert was issued at around 3:00 a.m. today, but the girl has been found safe at about 11:40 a.m. CDT. Ellenwood, Georgia is about 10 miles southeast of Atlanta, Georgia.
