Suspected DUI: Rollover Crash with Injuries on Russet Wood Dr and Haverhill Ct, Arlington Heights

VIDEO rollover crash with suspected DUI driver and attempted getaway at Russet Wood Drive and Haverhill Court injured at least two people.

Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 7:11 PM Sunday to a report of a rollover crash with injuries at Russet Wood Drive and Haverhill Court Arlington Heights, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that a vehicle crash involved a rollover. A witness at the scene reported that people rolled the vehicle back over on to its wheels, with injured people inside, and that the driver was then attempting to drive the vehicle away. The severely-damaged BMW — with both axles broken on the left side and with wheels out of alignment — was driven for about 30 feet.

Firefighter/paramedics arrived and called for a second rescue ambulance. At least two passengers were transported to Northwest Community Hospital.

Suspected of DUI, the male driver, wearing a white shirt, was transported in custody to Arlington Heights Police Department Headquarters.
