Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 8:36 PM Tuesday to a car-light pole crash at Pioneer Park, 500 South Fernandez Avenue Arlington Heights, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that a vehicle crashed into a light pole near the front entrance. The airbag deployed on the vehicle when it crashed.
Police towed the driver’s Nissan Sentra to a police holding area. Apparently the driver was not injured. The female/juvenile driver was arrested for DUI and transported in custody to Arlington Heights Police Department headquarters.
