Police in Chicagoland have received multiple reports of manhole covers blown off opening because of surging water through the drainage systems.

In Arlington Heights, blown off manhole covers have been reported on eastbound Palatine frontage road, and at the intersection of Miner Street and Gibbons Avenue.
