A Disturbance During a Reported Burglary in Progress on Dunton Ave and Hit-And-Run Crash at Arlington Heights Rd and Rand Rd Related

Arlington Heights police responded about 6:58 PM Tuesday to a report of a disturbance in the block of 1400 North Dunton Avenue Arlington Heights, IL. Police responded to a report that a man was inside a house causing a disturbance. It was unknown if one or two people had burglarized a home there. Police responded and arrested a male subject. The disturbance was possibly domestic-related.

Police also learned that the man they arrested at the home was a suspect involved in a hit-and-run crash minutes earlier at Arlington Heights Road and Rand Road. The offending vehicle was described as a red 4-door vehicle.

No injuries were reported at the hit-and-run crash.
