Two Men Charged with Battery on Forest Ave, Mount Prospect

Mount Prospect police responded about 3:45 PM Friday to a report of a battery in the block of 200 Forest Avenue.. Ryan P. Hanley, 18, of the 200 block of North Emerson Street, Mount Prospect, and Matthew Kevin Guth, 20, of the 100 block of South Louis Street, Mount Prospect, were arrested after it was reported they contacted a teenage male about a Facebook posting the teen made, pushed him down, and unched him.

Police also received a report that Ryan P. Hanley bit the teen victim’s mother when she tried to stop the attack.

The court date for both suspects is today, February 22, 2012.
