Theft of Cash From Purse Hanging Near Coat Rack At Savers Department Store On West Dundee Rd, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 6:15 PM Wednesday of a theft at Savers Department Store, 780 West Dundee Rd Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders removed over $200 in cash from the victim’s wallet. The victim left her coat and purse on the end of a clothing rack while shopping. She forgot that she left her purse hanging on the clothing rack, and when she returned, the coat and purse were still there, but the money was gone.

The crime is reported to have occurred on February 1, 2012 between 12:45 p.m. and 1:15 p.m.
