Wallet Lifted Out of Purse at Portillo’s on West Dundee Rd, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 12:01 PM Friday, January 25, 2013 of a wallet theft at Portillos, 806 W. Dundee Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders removed a Jessica Simpson wallet (value $75) from an open purse which was hanging on the back of a chair with the wallet exposed. The wallet contained two California drivers’ licenses, credit/debit cards, social security card and cell phone adapter. The offender attempted to use the credit card at a Walmart.

The credit card was immediately suspended by the bank, and customer notified, when the charge amount attempted greatly exceeded the credit limited.
