Buffalo Grove police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 10:52 AM Thursday to a hit-an-run personal injury crash at Lake Cook Road and McHenry Road. Police received a report that a black GMC Yukon hit a red Pontiac Vibe about 10:45 a.m.
The offending vehicle — the black GMC Yukon — was last seen northbound on McHenry Road from Lake Cook Road. The Yukon had tinted windows and driver’s side front damage. The left front headlight was also “damaged out” and red paint transfer is likely on the Yukon.
The license on the Yukon was reported to be P57 8044.
